Capacity Building

CAPACITY BUILDING

At WANGONeT, human capacity development is our concern. We focus on developing the human capital with strong private sector efficiency especially within the Civil Society Group. Under our capacity building initiative, we undertake training on the use of computer and other ICT tools, Policy Formulation and Implementation, Issue-based Advocacy Campaigns, Research, Not–for-profit Management and others.

GROUP 20 INITIATIVE

In 2004 WANGONeT discovered the need to pay special attention to the ever-evolving human capacity needs of NGO’s (and civil society groups) and develop not-for-profit organization managers. A strategic approach was therefore designed to identify these needs as they evolve, raise resources for, and deliver a well-structured training programme to address these specific needs. To effectively deliver this programme, WANGONeT has commenced training and collaboration with 20 selected NGO’s in our network of over 150 NGO’s (Group 20). The number will increase as the programme progresses.
