Our name is campaign for widows’ health and wealth. As the name implies, our job is focused on bringing to the awareness of the general public the discriminations being suffered by widows and women in general. We also assist widows weather the storm associated with the loss of their husbands and fight their legal battles for them in the area of property rights and also help them in training their children and take care of their health needs.

CEPA is a Nigerian- based Non-governmental and tax exempt organisation established in response to the growing rural poverty, health problems and social justice created by unfair economic practices, environmental pollution and degradation, ethnic cultural and gender intolerance as well as other gross violations of human right and fundamental freedoms. CEPA operates in the rural urban setting that is overshadowed by poverty hunger, squalor, inability to generate sustainable income and lacking the capability to utilize the available human material resources that exist in community. The role of CEPA is that of a partner co-operating with the grassroots and providing them with necessary support within which their community can be developed. For CEPA a putting person first is a well-established philosophy, which the organisation operates. CEPA's mission is to promote knowledge about the united nations, its principles and activities as well as environment and economically sustainable communities through community based projects, advocacy, technical assistance, campaigns and education work.
